COMPOUND MGMT
THE PRIORITY
In 2020 when the entertainment industry paused, we pivoted. We saw the opportunity to start a management company where we would want to work without multiple department and staff meetings a day. Where we don't manage managers, we only manage clients.
Offices have been reimagined and information more streamlined online; Compound Mgmt takes advantage of this and uses the latest software and programs to connect executives, information, and talent. Executives have private access to client materials, and all clients have dedicated online portals sharing data in real-time with their manager.
THE QUOTE
"People look at people like themselves and pick people like themselves. This leaves out diversity of thought and ideas you didn't know you had. And, even if you're successful, could you have been more successful?"
- Kara Swisher

At Compound Mgmt, this isn't a hypothetical question, it is a fact that we look to prove true.
THE CLIENT
Actor - Writer - Influencer - Performer - Activist.
All of Compound Mgmt's clients do more than one thing. And they do it well. Compound Mgmt specializes in expanding every facet of their client's careers.

Because of that, Compound Mgmt partners only with a handful of clients to give attention to all the dimensions in our client's careers. Whether live tours, brand partnerships, development, or auditions, we partner with our clients in all their creative goals.

At Compound Mgmt our goal isn't to find that place for our clients but to create that space if it doesn't already exist.
THE REP
"I heard how female and diverse clients were being pitched and knew I could do it better. In Orange County, California, I grew up the daughter of immigrants and the only brown kid. I knew I belonged, but didn't know where exactly. That dictated whom I represent: the people that represent me."
- Tatiana Sarah, Compound Mgmt
THE CHANGE
The foundations of the entertainment industry were to keep only those most passionate and filter the rest out. If they suffered through unique challenges, they were worthy. Underpaying employees was one of those challenges. But over the decades, these low salaries didn't filter out the passionate, instead, they filtered out college graduates with student debt, as one example. The result was an employment pool concentrated on those from higher socioeconomic means and ultimately homogenized company staff.

The result was an entertainment industry with executives and representatives that represent mainly men, who are likely white.

To change this, Compound Mgmt works with staff to pay down student loans and open opportunities with all partners so that we can hopefully bring in more diversity of thought and entertainment.
